Handwoven Peruvian Frazada No. 008

Add to Wishlist

This frazada is a handmade textile that we hand selected in Peru. All of our collections are ethically sourced directly from where they originate. This piece was handwoven by artisans in the Andes Mountains and pieces like this take anywhere from 6-8 weeks of work to complete. Frazadas can be used in your home as rugs, throw blankets, at the foot of the bed, picnic blankets, for upholstery and more. Each one is one-of-a-kind and is sure to bring a global feel to any home.

We ethically source all our pieces, pay fair compensation and additionally, a portion of the profit of every piece sold from our Peruvian collection goes directly towards donating supplies and services for the women and children in the rural Peruvian communities. Supplies and services include vitamins, reading glasses, dental care and first aid kits to the villages where these textiles originate from in Peru. For example, the purchase of this frazada will, in turn, donate 20 pairs of reading glasses vitamins for women in the communities that we source from.
